Graduated from Kyiv Polytechnic Institute with a degree in Electrical Measuring Engineering, Candidate of Technical Sciences (1967), Associate Professor of Information and Measurement Engineering (1971), has the honorary title of Honored Lecturer of the National Technical University of Ukraine “Kyiv Polytechnic Institute” (2008), from 2011 to 2018 she was the head of the Department of Information and Measurement Technology.

Engaged in research in the field of theoretical metrology and metrological support of measuring instruments.

The author of about 270 scientific papers, including monographs and textbooks, participated in the creation of terminological standards of Ukraine in the field of metrology (DSTU 2681-94. Metrology. Terms and definitions .; DSTU 3540-97. Electronic measuring instruments for electrical and magnetic quantities. ; State Classifier of Ukraine SC 011-96. Classifier of the system of designations of units of measurement and accounting.). She dealt with the implementation of research results in practical metrological activities.

Nina Yaremchuk was the leader and responsible executor of 20 research works. Based on the results of work in the field of testing electricity meters, a number of documents were developed and approved: “Recommendations. Metrology. Induction electricity meters. Method of determining the calibration interval MI 081 / 29.16-98 “,” Electronic electricity meters. Methods for determining the calibration interval MI 081 / 29.06-01 “,” MI 081 / 29.17-04. Recommendations. Metrology. Electric energy meters electronic single-phase SOE-5028. Methods for determining and confirming the inter-calibration interval “,” MIKN 100 / 872-2001.

Recommendations. Metrology. Electricity meters three-phase electronic. Program and methods of accelerated tests to establish the inter-calibration interval “,” Electricity meters LM-IT. Program and methods of accelerated tests to determine the calibration interval and tests to confirm it MICG.410114.001 “.

Disciplines she has taught and currently teaches: “Electrical measurements”, “Electro-radio measurements”, “Theoretical foundations of information and measurement technology”, “Fundamentals of metrology”, “Metrological support of information and measurement systems”, “Intelligent measuring equipment”, “Representative Theory of Measurements”, “Fundamental and General Concepts of International Terminology in the Field of Metrology and Measurement Technology”. According to the method of teaching disciplines, a report was made: Distinctive features of teaching course “Based metrology and measurement technique” in Kiev Polytechnic Institute // P.P.Ornatski, N. A.Yaremchuk / 7th International Symposium IMECO “Modern electric and magnetic measurements”, 1995. She supervised the scientific work of 7 graduate students, 5 of whom defended their dissertations.
