In 1980 he graduated from the Kyiv Technological Institute of Light Industry with a degree in “Automation and complex mechanization of chemical-technological processes.”

In 1988 he defended his dissertation for the degree of candidate of technical sciences in specialty 05.11.13 – devices and methods of control of materials, substances and the environment.

From 1999 to 2014 he was the head of the Department of Automation and Computer Systems of the Kyiv National University of Technology and Design.

In 2014 he moved to NTUU KPI.

In 2015 he defended his dissertation for the degree of Doctor of Technical Sciences in the specialty 05.11.08 – radio measuring instruments.

Since 2016 – Professor of AED (now IVT).

He has co-authored 6 monographs (2 of them collective), 1 textbook with the stamp of the Ministry of Education and Science. He is the author and co-author of more than 100 articles in scientific periodicals, of which more than 40 are registered in the scientometric database Scopus. The scientific achievements include 62 copyright certificates and patents.

Member of the International Confederation of Measurements IMEKO, Committee TC13 – Measurements in Biology and Medicine.

Research interests: measurement of weak and ultraweak signals of wide frequency range, medical measuring equipment.

Main disciplines: information-measuring systems, ICS design technologies, measurement of electrical and non-electrical quantities.
